It does not matter that you have Asberger's syndrome,
so did I, but never knew of it until late in life.
You have obvious interest in animation - have you read any of Andrew Loomis' books on drawing? They are QUITE good.
With regards to Japanese, I prefer more sci-fi
related stuff such as Ghost in the Shell or Final Fantasy.
Suggest Remembering the Kanji if you want to learn to read Japanese quickly - you can go through the
book in 3 months at 30-40 minutes a day.

Returning to the Asberger's theme for a moment, I still say that you should not make this a defining characteristic when you describe yourself. EVERYBODY is different in some way or other and that is good. It so happens that I have astigmatism in both eyes but I do not go around defining myself by saying, "Hi, I'm James Pannozzi, I have astigmatism"!
Your Asberger's gives you some extraordinary thinking abilities, abilities which you will not even realize until you get to your late 20's or early 30's but it is a god given gift which you must utilize and turn to your advantage rather than regard as a handicap. Once this is accomplished, the rage and frustration will evaporate.
I agree.
To add "Aspergers syndrome" to the top of a list of your Personality traits is to embrace that label and stop people from judging you for yourself, rather then a vague label.
